 To Manage Engineering and Maintenance services and ensure operational reliability in accordance with the agreed procedures and documented work instructions. Oversee Preventative Maintenance compliance and effectiveness. Create and manage overhaul schedules for sustained performance. Assist Plant Manager in making operational improvements to reduce costs and to increase productivity. Provide the day-to-day operational leadership for mechanics, electricians, technical crafts and associated personnel. Assign accountability, build teams, hire, develop, evaluate, train, coach and discipline with corrective action as needed. Have a complete and updated log of all equipment, utilities and tools in the plant. Communicate the maintenance schedule to the plant manager, and inform them of any justifiable updates. Report to the GM, while notifying the plant managers, of equipment which are soon to reach the end of the useful life or that will require replacement.

Qualifications Should have an acute sense of Business management and administration to do the job. 6-9 years in Engineering and Maintenance. 3 years manufacturing plant engineering/management experience which includes project development and project management experience.

Other Skills Successful department budget management. Proven skills and track record in Preventive Maintenance, Reliability Based Asset Management. Interpersonal, Team Building, and Collaborative skills Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Office and Microsoft Project. Previous experience with Automated Control Systems PLCs & PCs is preferred.
